Salzburg himself has a huge jump in him. He spent his first season under saddle gaining experience with Rick Dabner and ballooned his was round the trainer courses up to 90 cms. He is free jumping 1.40 + just as easily.

A paddock accident led to St Moritzs’ tragic death at just 5 yr old; however, the "St Moritz" direct line are still commanding top prices at the Elite auctions in Germany every year.

In 2013, a 2.5 yr old licensed colt sired by St Moritz Junior ( a halfbrother to Salzburg) took the "Price Highlight" of his sale for the immense sum of 750,000 euros !!
Thankfully St Moritz lives on through Salzburg; as well as grand sons and daughters.

Salzburg's pedigree is literally packed full of the highly regarded "German Hanoverian Greats". If you can think of one, it is mostly likely there.

Dam - StPrSt Bella Carmina

Multi Champion mare Bella Carmina was the "price highlight' of the 2008 Elite Mare Acution in Hanover in foal to St Moritz. She was bought by Hollingrove Stud in Australia but left in Germany to foal down (and to be re bred prior to importing)

We purchased the resulting foal ( Salzburg) in Germany and the pair were imported to Australia together later in 2009.

StPrSt Bella Carmina herself received outstanding scores at her Mare performance testing, and at the recent Louis-Wiegels-Schau, where she was Champion, she received scores of 10's and 9's.
State Premium Mare (StPrSt) status is only given to mares of the highest quality that have not only achieved high scores for conformation, paces and temperament but have been very successful in their mare performance test. The appearance of StPrSt in a bloodline indicates that the breeding is from the Highest quality mares. In turn this means you have a higher chance of achieving quality offspring.

Salzburg comes from an historic and immensely successful line of the highest quality mares available in Hanoverian breeding today and this is why we as performance breeders and riders are so very lucky to have direct access to these champion gentics

StPrSt Bella Carmina is sired by former Bundeschampion winner Bellissimo M and her dam is the illustrious StPrSt Carmina Burana, who in 1998 was crowned Bundessiegerstute-the title of German Champion Mare. In 1999 Carmina Burana was 4th at the Bundeschampionat for riding horses in the 4yo.mare and gelding division whilst pregnant to Weltmeyer.
The resulting foal Walk of Fame ended up in 2nd place at the 2003 Bundeschampionat for 3 YO. riding mares and geldings.
In following years Carmina also won the title of Louis-Wiegels-Schau and Ratje-Niebur-Schau, which together with her title Bundessiegerstute made her the most successful mare ever in Hannover. From Carmina's family there are many famous horses, for example Weltino with Ellen Schulten-Baumer

Premium Licensed Hanoverian stallion St Moritz sadly passed away far too soon and far too young.

By the legendary super sire and arguably the greatest stallion to enter the Hanoverian Verband in modern times; super sire Sandro Hit.

St Moritz's Dam Ver.Pr.St.Dondola was also mother to many high performance horses including the licensed stallion Bergerac.

Out of St. Moritz first crop resulted the licensed stallion St. Moritz junior, who was sold for 170.000 Euro. The full sister to St. Moritz I and II was the top price filly at the auction in 2006 with a price of 43.000 Euro.
